The Goddesss Within

You descend from the heavens
A beauty, bathed in shimmering
light, of pure heart and gentle
emotions.
An aching pain of life's duress, follows
you within a shadow of budding happiness,
banish the dark shadows with your
goodness and love, walk in radiance,
in truth, in beauty, for that's what you
are.
Your heart shines through as a
summer's sun illuminating,
Your path within this life.
With wisdom gained from living,
searching, embracing, life
and the many intricate
journeys within it.
The delicate structure of
your being - how tenderly fragile,
yet how amazingly strong, resilient,
determined and true.
You're a gift from the heavens,
an angel Of light, celebrate
your intuition, your creativity,
your individuality.
Celebrate the Goddess within you,
cherish her, love her,accept
her wisdom and friendship.
Embrace yourself, love yourself,
nurture yourself.
You're precious.
You are the Goddess within.
02/15/2007 Author's Note: We often times forget to nurture ourselves - to love ourselves - to touch that inner light within us - Look in the mirror, you will recognize her if you look close enough. She is the laughter of your day, the joy in each moment, the beauty of your soul. She is you....This was inspired by the many hours of conversation with my best friend Missy Sylvia. I think we have novels written though life many times over.
