Posted by Shirin Swift on 01/06/07 at 12:52 PM Deliciously rich from all angles...I esp love the second line. |
Posted by Cristy M. on 01/06/07 at 05:17 PM "saunters into noir." quite the catch, that line. |
Posted by Kathleen Wilson on 01/07/07 at 07:53 AM Amazing coloring in this, as if deep rich watercolors... spilling out... "indigo indelible"... mmm maybe a deep blue ink---and the changing scene to noir---hints black and mysterious dark, after the gloaming, and after the red moon wanes.... a beautiful colorful haiku-word painting... and yet very centered in the mysterious night. The "sauntered" somehow reminds me of "noir" film in its pace and gesture too, with the moon as main character. |
Posted by Kristina Woodhill on 01/07/07 at 05:43 PM The word that makes this for me is "saunters" - it gives this the subtle motion that separates this piece from other ordinary moonlit night descriptions. Your colors here are vivid. |
Posted by Laurie Blum on 01/09/07 at 01:12 AM I really like this, you know I adore short forms and you said so much with so few words. |
