Child of Days

by Timothy Somers

Child of days-are-getting-longer birth,
and years-are-moving-onward mirth beginnings,
You are loved.

Sweep your arms in arcs around you now,
and see the lives you've touched,
in reverence,
in relevance,
in happenstance,
feeling finger-brush of vivid life.

Lift your face up to the rain,
or clouds crowded brightly white,
or stars emboldened by your life,
sky and clouds and stars,
all waiting for your touch.

Cast your eyes, with crinkle-squint,
upon the warmth outpouring,
flowing inward to your boundless heart.

Listen to your music growing,
singing-voiceless-chanting,
gilded-edged in joy.

Your heart is calling inward now,
to fill with calming force,
accept this filling-raging course,
as deeply as your love of love,
a joining now,
from souls you've touched,
and souls beyond.

How have I missed this for so long? Perfect expression of all ages. Thanks for posting.
