The "F" In Fun by Kyle Anne KishEverywhere I go
I take Me along
... not just for the company
but to keep Me safe
from the lions
and the tigers
and the bears
which I would
surely be unaware(s)
unless Me is there
walking alongside
the person I
have come to know
as a friend, confidant,
advisor and sometimes foe.
Me helps I trust My
instincts, as well
as speak what should
be spoke
bout us natives
in our headgear
as I tell a little joke
on Me.
Though not too funny
on My own,
I can always find
the f in fun
when Me joins
in and tickles My
funny bone.
So come along
and see what I
mean when Me
takes a ride
on My coat tails
and makes My
world a better place
simply because
I am Me. 11/28/2006 Posted on 11/29/2006 Copyright © 2024 Kyle Anne Kish

Posted by Gabriel Ricard on 11/29/06 at 03:57 AM Interesting format. I think a lot of that has to do with your voice, which has a really unique style here. Good stuff. |

Posted by Alisa Js on 11/30/06 at 08:12 AM You have shared here in a most entertaining way the importance of self love, and by that I mean, accepting and loving yourself, being comfortable with who you are, how you are and what you are. I believe only then, can you welcome another into your heart and soul. This poem carries a powerful message of the importance not only of a healthy self esteem.. but of loving yourself. Thanks for sharing.. aloha..;-) |
