Situation Report

by Chris Sorrenti

It’s like that scene near the end
of the first Star Wars movie
Luke Skywalker in his X-wing fighter
racing just ahead of the flames
from an explosion of his own doing
in an attempt to vanquish the Death Star
and though we know the final outcome
in your case it’s sometimes hard to tell
whether the flames have overtaken you

Ouch ... perhaps only a Luke Skywalker could pull off a stunt like that and there are so few like him! I enjoyed the memories and I love the poem. Thanks, Chris.

Yeah, I've had my backside singed more than once in my time - nice observation, Chris.... d:-)

From our given angle it can be so hard to tell sometimes. Others work so far to keep us from seeing a better or different angle/truth. Excellent. Thanks, Chris.

fascinating. Not sure what inspired this comparison, but very intriguing and well-laid out.

What a forceful analogy. The message a direct hit I'd say!
