The Pop-Up Wars by Jersey D Gibsonpoint, click, cancel

I do not need a free laptop
pop-up, slow, delete
pop-up, slow, delete
pop-up, slow, delete
I do not care which celebrity that is
advertize, minimize
advertize, minimize
advertize, minimize
Who wants to save money now?
blocked, defied, denied
blocked, defied, denied
blocked, defied, denied
Time to run the cleaner on my hard drive again
ignored, shuttled, hidden
ignored, shuttled, hidden
ignored, shuttled, hidden
The only type of cookies I don't like
Kill them all with the speed
of a first-person shooting game. 11/11/2006 Author's Note: I ******* hate pop-ups. They should be illegal or something.

Posted by Kristina Woodhill on 11/11/06 at 11:36 PM Very effective poem of the computer world garbage. I love the repetition that typifies how many times I click the "X" each day to get rid of something "in my face". "the only type of cookies I don't like" - great humor in this line. Your bold end lines of resolution are great! |
