Latin Philosophy

by Maria Francesca

Seize the day,
they like to tell you,
grab its roots and hold on tight

'cause tempus fugit
and before you know
it's made that journey into night

so carpe diem, they repeat
ad infinitum,
and it's true -

you've got to carpe diem
lest the diem
carpe you.

Catchy, playful lingo, with an important lesson to boot. Well done! Adds to favourites.

Very fine, all your work is bright and witty with a dark depth and a sense of humor.

This gets my vote for POTD. Nice job.
