neXus –- collab. with sk

by Leslie Ann Eisenberg

listening to this relationship write
jetstream white scripted this in the sky,
"complication is actually sweet"
work, the clock will see your best devotions

this will be easy.

where to start?
i am green so golden
a 200 pound bodyguardscholar
climbing mountains making no tracks
crossing lines with genius
king at listening but nothing pervading
the what goes where an act
a theater
a stone path
aren't you worried?
i have been weak like this before

dancing, could you be kryptonite?

at the bar accidental touching
has gone well over legal limits
you pour you another drink and
the crowd cries
"she is alive!"
act on itch and i will persist
asking
"where can i not put my hand?"

we are in the act of easing the blind optimist up
making mistakes is nature makes mistakes
everything is true and bad things feel pretend
i will grow up if you whisper louder
pretending a smaller figure.

the mood is summer heat wave smoke
pink is a shade the writer plays with matches
ink bleeds glossed lips pouting, heavy
the sway of soft hips hypnotic you're rough treading
hands stumbling
word tripping.

mirth drenched this girl in velvet coats
wails feral from blink to blink
camcorder with fast forward raw
emotion adoring a blazing fast puzzle
long fingers, small buttons,
a technician, backwards magician.
justify passion into clay
transcribe verve to micro-cassette:
"i had intuitions you, hypnotic,
often love best with a nudge."
mold we too one how are we not slipping
and i'm asking while stepping,
“who is running this show?”

"spill right now" she zips it down
bursting caved under life-stones
watch me be better than I expected
kiln sealing paint i am the cup
empty feels sexy in this minute wallpaper faints away dark
unfiltered faith glues scattered thoughts
she penetrates me forehead to core

shattering
news at 11:00 i open windows doors ceilings with her skin
slide insanities passion unleashed onto quicktime flies
moviemaker scenestealer

you’re a real breathtaker
devoted throats get dry
ice ski down slippery slopes swallow shining mouths
i will hold still now and here she comes in
running through the mirrors,

in reflection,
funny
no matter what i'm doing, i never feel dull

Hate to be a mimic, but I have toagree with Jon and Lori- a wonderful work- the 2 of you compliment each other so well. Great read!

What a combo! Pretty heady stuff. It sets me rather adrift in a sea of wonderful words. Nice job!
