Your Shore

by Maria Terezia Ferencz

stars and planets ply the heavens
rest upon her shores
begging please
such sweet release
held close forever more

stars and planets ply the heavens
reminding me of you
begging I
for you to lie
let me rest safe
upon your shore

stars and planets ply the heavens
make of me your star
a breath away
too far
I say
I long to wash ashore

Gorgeous! I bow in homage to your prowess at mastering a challenge... Wow... This piece is like shining silky locks flowing over the shoulder...

CONGRATULATIONS on POTD! What a beautiful, romantic plea to the heavens. It's said with such delicacy that the universe can't help but listen. Often when I walk home and look up at the sky, I see my favorite constellation, Orion, and entreat him one more time.

I love reading the first stanza over and over! Nicely building to a perfect last line.
