poppies red

by Peter Humphreys

poppies
red
shy
in
fields
of
corn

clouds
white
creep
bye
in
gathering
dawn

whisper
black
shadows
insinuate
a
goldening
morn

as
we
fall
together
life
is
borne

Hi Peter. What great shape and demension our world takes on, when viewed with the "double-vision" of two. Beautiful thoughts and writing. Thanks.

This is a marvelous use of single words to evoke color, a quiet expectancy, the world around us, and new beginnings.

Peter, I love this. It's so tender and gentle, yet evokes all the colors your represent. These are the kind of words that a woman loves to hear from a man.

how gorgeous, thanks for this. I love the colours of the flowers right now, and poppies are special.
