"Dry" Theme haiku for Tadpole Contest

by Maureen Glaude

near ninety
she guards her set and dry-
hearing aid time

Author's Note: this one, about my mom and how she protects her curls when we help put her hearing aids in, tied for second place in our August kukai contest. What we do without Agnes Eva and her contests and forum, I wonder.

A common place event made tender. Her pride and your caring quite evident.

You convey in haikustyle the pride still alive in your mom. A loving picture or an ordinary event. Congratulations on your winning poem.
