My Celestial Garden

by Gregory R Schelske

She is my celestial garden-
the breath of a thousand blossoms.
I want to drink her like a flower drinks rain.
She is spoiled with the frailty of a morning's whisper
and the arrogance of the night sky in full bloom.
Even in her unrest there is a marvelous beauty that
escapes her like coal to diamond; fire to ash.
And when in splendor I have sought,
I am carried away again by her presence;
untouched by what she is or was or could be.
I know that I am complete in her embrace-
I am whole in her eyes. And when she speaks of
that strand-
that bridge-
that cup of water-
I am all of that and more

Very romantic using strong symbolism.
