You and Me

by Gregory R Schelske

The difference between you and me
is that you are you and I am me-
if I were you than you'd be we
and I'd be us and we'd be me.

If we were me than I'd be us
and we could ride my old school bus
and share a seat with little fuss
because I am you and we are us.

If you were me would we be them?
Or would you be us and they be him?

If you and I were us and they
Than we'd be them and I'd be

Wait a minute...
I think I like being me-
Just me!
