Knock Knock

by A. Paige White

He's knocking on my open door again
He's so in love with me
Please, come walk with me
for a while
your thoughts are precious and totally mine
They never fail to make me smile
Hear that rumbling?
Fiery chariots are on the way
Get ready for the ride of your life!
You know you love my style.

The groom adores
that you love Him so much
You've almost faded away
Pining for the closest intimacy
So in love
You can't eat
So in love
You can't sleep

Oh how He laughs
When a true daughter of Zion
is yet unwell
You seek His light
With self-denial
And ask in bubbling laughter
Would you hurry up
and get well
so I can eat?

Listen closely!
That's the sound of laughter
dancing and song
of the wedding feast.

Author's Note: I just can't quit laughing...
I've never seen myself in my dreams before....
well...
according to the bill board on the highway:
For every dream, there's hope.
