scents of night

by Peter Humphreys

as you
breathe
gently
raven
hair
askew
your
breasts
do rise
and lips
do call
my name
Erris
upon the
evening
air
that
glides
in through
a window
bare and
carries
with it
scents of
night
and past
deceipts
as
wrongs
set right
a
bulky
browed
barn owl
preys
for
home

"upon the evening air that glides in through a window bare and carries with it scents of night" lovely words and flow - the barn owl at the end is great...
