07. juggler

by Peter Humphreys

a
curved
slit
in velvet
black
guides us
up to
night town
away from
calm and
mellow
streets
a chaos
maze of
light
noise
squalor
ink above
and ink
below
we follow
crowds to
night town
while just
down in
a square
below
a juggler
juggles
childrens'
eyes
bright
sparkling
goshing
gushing
clapping
awe
miles
away
from
night town

a beautifully surreal work worthy of De Chirico.
