Posted by Ashok Sharda on 07/22/06 at 01:43 AM Beautiful, propounding ACTION. Yes, we must rise perpetually taking the stairs and not short cuts that will create an illusion of rising ' high', eventually dumping us back ' in a land of no return'. beautiful rula. |
Posted by Kristina Woodhill on 07/22/06 at 03:30 AM I'm definitely in an elevator mood this week :), but the labor of the stairs makes the upward arrival satisfying. |
Posted by Jared Fladeland on 07/22/06 at 03:50 PM I like your philosophies very much. If people could make love to philosophies, we'd have a very spiritual nihilist on our hands |

Posted by JD Clay on 07/23/06 at 02:35 AM Moods are often like little children and most often just need a little guidence. I can see why some might relate moods with a swing, or elevator in this case, given their volitility. Your poem takes a firm stand and being decisive is a step in the right direction knowing the stairs are fixed yet lead both ways for a reason. |
Posted by Joan Serratelli on 07/23/06 at 02:20 PM I like the analogy used here- very well thought out and oh, so true. Excellent as always Rula! |
