for a couple encased in cold
rightfully scorned and
beating each other to the
punch out dolls that theyve
been told are the model for
societys breakthroughs
still, one can not be blamed
for trying to accomplish
what was boasted as
never-ware and scars
wont ever wash off
when theyre acquired
by pushing away
