Melancholy in the song of despair

by Keith D Allison

The crestfallen so long ago
from the sting of the black widows bite
being consumed in the winds of the desert
in that black march of time
the last drop of water
marching to
eternal rest
no longer kept in its emptiness

Hi Keith. Even in the desert, with no water, and injured...the possibilities are amazing!

Text well reflective of its title Keith. I've found myself easily relating to this one.
