a brief deconstruction in the form of household items and space

by Jared Fladeland

your:

dixie cup smile amuses me every time.
poker chip eyes have me wanting to push all in on every hand.
cinnamon bun nose ponders the aroma filling the air.
bearskin hair wraps around me and I snuggle into eternity.

if personality were a million miles,
I would, without hesitation walk your
2,004,336,482,622 light years of nuances
to enjoy every moment of who you are.

Derrida was never one of my favorites until I learned to understand his theory. You've taken what so common and elevated it to the heights of sometimes undefined and not often understood love. Welcome to pathetic - a bit late... ;-)

Great use of metaphor in the common everyday you find the most wonderful things to say about someone special. smh

I would have liked to have seen this longer...to see what other tribute you could devise...but considering this is "a brief deconstruction"... that wouldn't quite fit, would it? :) All in all, a very thoughtful and nice write.

wow...this is insanely intimate. this is the embodiment of romance. this is how it's supposed to be. it's the subtle things that set those who are truly in love on fire. the "nuances"...are where the true beauty hides. VERY excellent jared.
