seas
combinations
of fragrances meant to be
lurid and lead these masses
through fire brimstone
and dial tone receivers
on
and
on
in the dark flames of corrosive breaths
the empty steel scales
fail
as pale as
his skull's longest white
tooth
sayers
nay
sayers
one day her
eyes
will be
clearer
simpler
easier
than
hiding beneath the vigor
of vengeance on
one's own
self service
self perpetuated discombobulated
shelf systems
operated and negotiated
by the city's own provider
while principles attend office
meetings
and the potluck
is set
a week
in advance
