Heavenly Bodies (a How To on love making)

by Kristi Paik

Make love like the moon,
In long slow rythmic cycles,
Wax and then wain
From new to full,
Deep draw as tides pull
And waves crest, crashing
Flowing then ebbing
Caught in passions webbing.
Consign yourself to gravity's illusion,
Body-to-bread real life communion
(now whats so confusing???)

Make love like the sun,
Radiate waves of white heat,
Rise and then set
From dawn to dusk,
Dry tears and bring sweat,
Burn with bottomless lust,
Command time and set motion
Pull life from the oceans,
Consume yourself in the name of desire,
Baptise the body in Solar fire
(what else do yuo require???)

God grants us loose hips for such sultry slips,
Make love as both bodies, all worlds eclipse

Very insightful and sexy (without being vile). I too loved the rhyme and the rythem (sp) of this piece. Excellent write Kristi

I really like the imagery you've used here, capturing the essense of sharing passion in smooth flowing rhyme. It never sounds forced or silly, which often happens when rhyming in poems. Superbly expressed. JJ
