Within the Silence

by Christel Crews

Don't
Don't speak your thoughts
Every word breaks my heart
The sighs echo between us
Let me wait in your silence
Speaking volumes
Don't

Beautiful form which follows the content, or rather, the content has dictated the form. It's always in silence that we perceive most, not through the words which are just the interpreted vibration..it's the vibration which speaks, "sighs echo between us" - and the more refined the vibration the more powerfully perceived in silence. "Don't" - yes the urgency to not use words is so distinct, I sense it so clearly. I like this piece so much Christel. Let's just BE in the silence, not in the words.

The silence speaks , transmitting vibrations, echoing the feelings, creating a magnetic field which binds the loving souls once and for ever. Words can be counter productive.

This seems quiet, yet very firm in its request. Well communicated, like the request itself, in few words.

Well what can I say! Amazingly done, Christel. You have described the situation so beautifully.

"the sighs echo between us" ....don't you just feel like you're standing on the edge of the grand canyon sometimes and you're screaming to that person on the other side and they just can't hear you and even when they can they only whisper back? Only the sighs seem to make it through. Great piece, hon.

you took the words right out of my mouth

This is one of those poems that it hurts to understand. It's so completely perfect, Christel. I admire your profound talent, my friend, and hope to catch some of it!

Refreshingly different update to the "speaking volumes" concept. Well done!
