Gather we all to bid farewell
to this one we love.
Gone to be with our Lord
to shine in Heaven above.
Hear the angels singing
halleluiah, and amen.
Open wide the gates of heaven
and let this blessed one in.
No more sadness,
no sorrow or tears.
No more pain, suffering
or earth bound fears.
Rejoice, Rejoice
all ye that attend.
Behold the new creation
whom God’s love did mend.
