That was one of my absolute favorite books when I was growing up. Awesome haiku to go along with it.
I can't comment on your other two haikus though.... I have an unhealthy fear of crickets and grasshoppers. Yech.
i love the catepillar children's book.. such a sweet book.. i was talking to a student today about catepillars.. she caught one and is watching to see it build its cocoon and then turn into a buttefly... such an amazing creature!
