Another day another tear by Tony YoungSo strange but still
I expect to see and hear
your close, I know
but of late, my show
and almost fear
I smile and talk
so many memories
my words not heard for
they are but my thoughts
as I walk the deep weir
wondering why
your there I'm here
my smile is but the
movement
of my face and lips
as are my words
my writings in the sky
your name
my fingertips
darkness falls
this is my fear
for the early morning light
is sure to bring
another day
another tear 04/30/2006 Posted on 05/01/2006 Copyright © 2025 Tony Young
