size of the sighs

by Charlie Morgan

sighs matter

when asked how big
her diamond
ring
should be,
she sighed.

“oh, any size
it’s the sighs
that matters,
not the size.”

so,
happily i trod
along
knowing now
what i didn’t know then:

it’s the size
of the sighs
that matter.

Hi Charlie. There are some people who leave impressions not so lasting as the imprint of an oar upon the water. Yet size and sighs are their prime objective. Enjoyed this, my friend.

For me the size of the stone doesn't matter but the size of the heart that gives said stone.
