Picture this by Julie Adamstruth
exposed like film
naked
third eye in focus
zoom in
snap shot
mug shot
hot shot
can your lens handle
self exposure?
truth caught
red-eyed
in a dark room
lights off
hiding from negatives
your photo tries
to graphs lies
in acid flashes
no glossy finish
no tints, light
tricks, still
focused
exposed
in 3x5 blocks
of truth

Posted by Gregory O'Neill on 04/20/06 at 04:36 PM Hi Julie. Like this, especially, "can your lens handle self exposure?" What we see upon looking inside, has sometimes already been on display outside, for others. Thanks for saving this.

Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 04/24/06 at 04:16 PM Excellent use of extended metaphor to expose the evidence Jewels. A few words worth a thousand pictures! |
Posted by Steven Kenworthy on 05/02/06 at 10:11 PM a gorgeous capture of photography's raw ability. i love the simple one word lines...the impact they force. just like a picture, simple lyrical snapshots at the subject. good stuff jewels...i'll be back. |
