...And Then There Were 6

by Joan Serratelli

...and then there were 6
6 little cigarettes
down from about 35
I'm doing well
I'm going to survive

In the past
I had no desire
to stop
but suddenly I have motivation
and I need to quit now

I made a promise
that I will keep
no turning back
I've come too far

Only 6 cigarettes
will I smoke today
and maybe tomorrow
I will only smoke 5

Yes, we need determination to UNDO what we have for so long habitually come to DO. First step is recognition, and second is ACTION, the trick is to trick your smoking self. Delay the lighting, or set certain smoking hours, or reduce by one a day etc...you will find your smoking self sometimes forgetting to smoke hahahahaha Good luck, you seem well on your way! :-)

A battle I still fight. Nicely laid out.
