Mediating Divorce

by Glenn Currier

I will fight with all my might
he will rue the rent for their motel
burn from the loss of house and car.

She thinks she's innocent in this game
fancies she'll get custody
my lawyer knows better.

Weatherman, Coast Guard, or ship-to-shore
in the cyclone at the table
or am I a lighthouse?

Bless you Glenn for the work you do...and for the description of something that touches everyone involved. As a child of divorce, I know this is true and the effects are far reaching.

Hopefully a lighthouse, Glenn. It has to be a difficult position to be in. However, mediator the better than one of the antagonists! Dynamic and thought provoking!

Divorce is a tough time for anyone that goes through it. I hope you are not. Well written Glenn...Charlie
