this one struck me so visually, I felt I was there. I somehow kept imagining "piazzas" too, probably because the rhythm is so lovely. Wonderful. I put in my support on this one.

This really happened. I witnessed it, peeking 'round March's corner. Sunday. I was hoping the March wind would find the poet who could find words. And this also really happened! (I'm not at all surprised 'twas you!) ****

Yes, I agree with the others. It reminds me of the Sparks Street mall here in Ottawa. Originally a regular street for cars and sidewalks for pedestrians, back in the early 60s it was turned into a full pedestrian walkway, and is now the scene of various festivals during the summer months. Great for girl watching also.
