Lipstick Covers a Multitude of Lips

by Matthew Taylor

Lipstick glistens, shimmers, attracts...
covers the lips , maybe a crack.
It shivers, quivers, delivers a punch..
it has to be re-applied after you eat lunch.
it comes a kaliedescope of shades,
after the day, it sort of fades.
when you kiss it your lips stick too!
when your aunt kisses you with it~ ewwww!
it's cousin, cologne wants to make people believe
that we really smell that nice..
it also covers things that are not so nice..
like perspiration, or curry
but don't worry
we are wise to your tricks,
perfume and lipsticks...
illusions or solutions?

Author's Note: don't ask me about this, lol! I was watching tv and saw very glossy red lips and was moved to the computer throne, life is funny.

This is a great read - a funny look at our "make up". (had to say it.....):) Nice job.
