My Valentine

by Keith D Allison

You are the beauty of the sunrise
The crystal clear waters of life
The smile of the universe

Once you were mine
But soon, boys come to your mind
Though my light tremble, it was fine

Oh how, the years have tumbled
Since our first Valentine
But you still bless this heart of mine

Though the miles are many
Your valentines are now accompany
With candy, or flowers, rubies, or diamonds

But I remember the time
Of teddy bear hugs, and butterfly kiss
So you’ll always be, My Valentine

A sweet heart of a poem.
