therapy lives!

by Charlie Morgan

today he wore jeans and a shaved head;
he took out his heart,
after i showed him mine.

comparing the two, i noticed
they weighed the same
as he held mine, i held his.

his was full of Scarlet, Joy and
Lizzy, mine full of mebride-Pat,
and mepregnant daughter, Page.

at length we forgot who had whose
and walked away with them
both filled full of love and care.

oxygenated, therefore rejuvenated
i think we both will live to see
the 'morrow and smile at the Sun.
