How bad was bad?

by Vikki Owens

Time has allowed the bad
to seep away,
and blur the images on
those photographs
till remembering is more a dream
than reality.

Time paints the past
with rosewater.

Well worded reminder of how we tend to remember only good things from the past. And in this, thanks for the reminder.

I like the gentle tone of this poem. Nice job.

this is really cool!! it has this earnest, yet wistful tone that i think really meshes with the feelings you're talking about here... and i really love the last 2 lines.
