This Year's Winter by Sahar RahimWinter has come
The first snow has fallen
Plans are being made to meet and play
With each new day comes a frost
It nips at the tips of our noses
We see our breath as we exhale, the cold taking over
Celebrate this time with me
Let's sing in cafe's as we warm ourselves with coffee
Come hold my hand in the freshly iced arena
We'll skate all our worries away
Come celebrate this cold winter time
Let us snuggle by a nice fire
And we'll talk of the spring to come
The summer that is gone
Come celebrate this winter world
Let's enjoy the crisp fresh air
Hold tight as we walk down the avenue
We'll people watch down at Navy Pier
Come play before this world is gone
The white that covers the trees
The crystals that hang above
Will all be gone sooner than we think
Let us embrace the shorter days
Spend time at concert halls
And let us love the time we share most of all
So come dance with me by the river
Sit with me in a little shop
Come and bathe yourself in this years Winter
Come lets take a walk.
