by writing by Lisa-Dawn SparlinggBy writing I am able to get things off of my chest,
and on to a page.
I am released and free and no longer bound.
Poetry to me is freedom from my mental chains.
Sometimes it is graceful and floats,
sometimes it is akward and bumpy.
But that is ok -
because that is how my mind looks from the inside.
My poetry is my freedom - it is hear for you to view -
but I don't expect you to like it or understand.
It it is how it is and I don't judge it - it just is! 01/21/2006 Posted on 01/21/2006 Copyright © 2025 Lisa-Dawn Sparling

Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 01/24/06 at 03:28 PM How I see my own writing too Lisa-Dawn. Thanks for putting it so eloquently into words, especially these lines: Sometimes it is graceful and floats, sometimes it is akward and bumpy. But that is ok - because that is how my mind looks from the inside.
