Resurrected

by Charles M Harrison

An earthly life, he gave up
When he drank the sin filled cup
We were there you and I
Listen, and hear our cry.
Crucify, crucify let him die.
Our hand the nails hammered
With his death were we enamored.
Our souls his blood does stain
Cursed we may forever remain.
. Resurrected from the grave
Mans Sins God forgave.
Up to heaven the future bride
With his father to abide.
Here we are left to tarry
The cursed stain we still carry.
Unless with faith we do believe
For those lost the Lord will grieve.
Resurrected can be you and I
To live forever and not die.
Admit the deeds that were done
It was our sins that killed the son.
Ask Lord Jesus please let me live
With Gods grace he will forgive.
The crimson stain he will wash clear
And we need not ever death to fear.

Worthy Easter season poem to remind us why Christ died for our sins. And congrats on POTD; well deserved!
