your first move:

on saturday while you're lazing about
and the buzzer to the washer goes off
get your butt up and switch the clothes
to the dryer--it's right beside the washer.

that sets up the second move:

just about the time she starts
to rest for moment from her cleaning
grab the vacuum and finish those
two kids' room and the master bedroom.

now, you're ready for the kill:

about 6:00 or so ask them--kids too,
where they'd like to go to eat
and what'd they want to do next,
then do it with a big heart.

later, as you two crawl into bed,
you kiss and hug because
you've been making love
all day, and you're beat.
