You Won't Be There

by Jersey D Gibson

Was it over before it started?
you left me here so broken-hearted...
look what you've done to me.

Lived my life off of first glances,
denied myself any second chances...
look what you've done to me.

And I feel,
your love slipping away.
And I feel,
my heart fall right through my feet.
And I feel,
my memories crushing me.
And I feel,
like you won't be there...

We've made promises, we've made vows,
are things going to be all over now...
look what you've done to me.

It's been a while since I said I love you,
is there anything that I couldn't do...
look what you've done to me.

And I feel,
your love slipping away.
And I feel,
my heart fall right through my feet.
And I fell,
my memories crushing me.
And I feel,
like you won't be there...

Whoa...that's tough to deal with. Much angst, well portrayed.

Cool but sad campfire song. Break out the guitar and mouth harp. Also enjoyed the survey responses in your journal. Bungee jumping?! Wow! I agree with you on the Reality TV question. 10-4 good buddy.
