tennis shoe

by Travis G Finborg

I was alone in a crowd
the faces blurred around me
i walk with head downcast
i think i like to look at peoples
feet so that i dont have to make eye contact
no confrontation there
no fear of failure or rejection
no risk in a tennis shoe
