gathering silence. by Andrew S Adamsthe air says everything and
voices nothing, the dreamstate
broken only by the occasional
breath on the nape of the neck
we do not talk
not because we have
nothing to say but
no way to say it
nor cause to break the silence;
a silent peace pervades
over the room, as the dim lights
brighten the slight darkness
othehrwise neglected by all. 08/05/2005 Posted on 08/05/2005 Copyright © 2025 Andrew S Adams
