Means and Ends by Curt AlldayI believe this trace
reminds of ever lasting
grace against the rocks
your head smashed in
so magical, so terminal
so lovely,
with its reds becoming blues
showing you there to me
as the cotton covered ghost
you've always been
neither friend nor enemy
but a cascading reflection of tragedy
now dormant, slumbering
storming, sizzling, snoring
forever on picturesque cliffs of counterproductivity
lives in me, the image
of things ending
my long departed, friend 07/06/2005 Posted on 07/06/2005 Copyright © 2024 Curt Allday
