Beach Bliss by Jacki M ButlerThe sun beats against my skin The cool water laps my toes Sailboats scatter the horizon A message bearing planes flies overhead Thick salty breeze fills my senses Gentle splash of the surf reaching the shore, Is all I hear amongst the noises of children playin in the sand. A lighted buouy bobs in the distance Warning sailors of the nearby sand bar The clouds play peekaboo with the sun I could sit her forever on this rock And feel this happiness for always. 06/19/2005 Posted on 06/19/2005 Copyright © 2024 Jacki M Butler
