Beach Bliss

by Jacki M Butler

The sun beats against my skin
The cool water laps my toes
Sailboats scatter the horizon
A message bearing planes flies overhead
Thick salty breeze fills my senses
Gentle splash of the surf reaching the shore,
Is all I hear amongst the noises of children playin in the sand.
A lighted buouy bobs in the distance
Warning sailors of the nearby sand bar
The clouds play peekaboo with the sun
I could sit her forever on this rock
And feel this happiness for always.

Great descriptiveness Jacki; sits us right down beside you. Think we all have our own version of Beach Bliss, not that different from yours. Kudos!

You captured a day at the beach perfectly!
