Lovely
by Alicia VannCoy flecks of green sparkled
Over dimpled cheeks and strong hands.
IÂ’ve gulped your words
And wanted to disappear in your shoulders.
You reached that unknown twinkle in me
And have not overindulged the power
That gives you.
A perfectly blended Margarita
With the right amount of juice,
And the right amount of spirit.
YouÂ’ve opened the pages
Of my scarcely read book
And turned my pages ferociously.
IÂ’ve seen the purest you
Vulnerable and Handsome.
I'm ready for a ride.
