Posted by Charlie Morgan on 05/05/05 at 03:46 PM ...chris, this is a thought-provoking, but lithely serious-while-playfully-evoking-orwell poetic drama...love it...the final security guard's camera...hey dig it... SECURITY [we are aren't we-you know secure in Him] guard...lovely double entendre...peace, chaz |
Posted by Maureen Glaude on 05/05/05 at 05:55 PM perhaps with all the reality tv shows, the voyeurs can concentrate on their own tv screens. Interesting addressal of the privacy and big brother issue. |
Posted by Rula Shin on 05/05/05 at 07:32 PM This is thoughtful indeed, and though playful and half serious in tone it brings up some very interesting and important issues...Big Brother isn't as fictional as all that...but as you so cleverly point out, who's watching the watchers? hahaha Great write as usual Chris. |
Posted by Michelle Angelini on 05/05/05 at 10:00 PM Very well done Chris. Yes those eyes and ears are everywhere. I agree with what Charlie said about the double entendre in the last few lines. I like the way you handled the subject of growing interference in all aspects of our lives. When I was young, 1984 and its concepts were just fiction, now they are non-fiction.
