Misplaced by Britt ZimmermanI dont know where I belong anymore
There are so many roads to explore
And I miss the ones traveled
watching them slowly fade into horizons
filed away in the banks of my memory
I am not shiny and new like that diamond around your finger
There are scratches and dents to me
and I can dress them up like white wall tires
and ride around with the top down
but you can still see them when you come close
Therefore, I run
leaving rustling wind in your wake
like a brutal snowstorm
of icy comments and bitter tea
There is no "alone" for me
Always someone waiting in the wings
and I love again briefly
but never again like the melody
I sang with you...
