Dawn

by Kate Demeree

Once again wings flutter

Dew fresh

Silken soft

Fragile webbings

Not yet strong

Dim rays on the horizon

Bring healing

Slicing darkness

To emerge

Whole

Softly part the lips

Timid, trembling

Gentle curve

Hopeful blues

Peering, seeking

Renewal

Light

Life

Hold me father

In the palm of your hand

Till I find the strength

To fly…

There's such a subtle innocence in this posting...A beautiful sentiment; reflected in your words... ;)

'Once again wings flutter Dew fresh'''this is so full of life. Renewed hopes.'Renewal(of) Light Life'...as you say...'to fly'. You have the strength Kate and you know this. This is vibrating with beauty.
