A Is Murdered For Calling Murderer A Murderer

by Ashok Sharda

A feels B is a murderer
B is not interested in letting know A
that he is a murderer
C too is a murderer and A
knows that C is a murderer

B and C colludes
A is sent to a mental asylum
for calling them what they are

What a spectacular piece you have here Ashok. Tremendously intelligent and bold, yet how simple the form you have chosen to portray it, as simple as should the realization itself be, though for some reason it is not intuitive to the masses. This world is an ironic place, a peculiar place, a dreadful and unfair place to dwell upon. In human societies, the definitions of truth and sanity are always subject to the masses and those who lead them. Subject to the common belief system and not to any sort of objective pondering. To humankind (who is anything but kind) it is the individual who is insane and criminal. For it is insane and criminal to oppose the CROWD in any situation when they are so justified by the power and status of their leader(s) (to whom, ironically, the crowd itself has given power and status and not the leader himself who has acquired it through anything other than manipulation). And how capable the crowd and those mediocrities that lead them are of turning nonsensical declarations into truths ideal for pinning down those who oppose them. How strange it is to me how readily and easily we make a mockery of ourselves. I would laugh but for my natural inclusion in this ridiculous scenario; I would laugh but for the intentional slaying of that rare individual in this natural process. Yet there is beauty in this realization, and that is the very existence of A, for there is one thing which the simpletons and mediocrities can never take away from the man who exists beyond their influence, and that is his very existence and ability to oppose nature in becoming an individual. For even in death his individuality represents the notion of possibilities. He, in both life and death, represents the potential nobility of our otherwise hateful species. It is this positive energy which remains in the universe, never to be destroyed, and it is the very need to slay the individual that pinches the subconscious mind of the mediocre. That's what I saw. Excellent peom! :-)
