my love is under a yellow light

by Daryl Fein

i melt in silence
watching my love under the light
her skin so soft with a hint of lavender
we lock eyes with hearts in flight

unspoken babble drifts from my lips
she speaks to me in code
some distant angels dialect

her love is thoughtfull, boundless in passion
she inspires me to continue
no talk just action

floating kisses come to me from across the room
blown to me by my love so pure
i embrace every moment we spend together
we embrace with love
believing in one another

this poem has gut feeling, gunning and pure from its barrel and crystal clear as streams used to run.
